"I'd really love to hear from more Italian adoptees, and I really want to encourage Italian adoptees to kind of come-out of the shadow; and to start to think critically about [you know] what's been going-on on a massive sky like. You know, I worked very close with americans adoptees for the past five years; and the reason why I did that was it's because I knew that from a global prespective at top receiving countries there are America (US), Italy and France. If we don't have those three lots of adoptees on a global sky speaking at and being visible... That's where we need to get to in terms of  the short-term five years goal is encoraging more adoptees [...]"
The quote was taken from the video interview of Lynelle Long, blogger and critical thinker in intercountry adoption - Founder of InterCountry Adoptee Voices (ICAV) which began in Australia (1998) and now the largest platform worldwide bringing together the leaders of intercountry adoptee led groups around the globe, on Live podcast AdoptiON Air (run by Kim Soo-bok Cimaschi and Laura Pensini - Prisma Luce Association).
I've connected with Lynelle two months ago, her words were a source of inspiration to the Adoption Cloud project. 

Her statement in the interview is an encouragement for Italian adoptees and associations to interact and share their experience internationally - to be more present and open up to the World.

Angela Tucker's Adoptee Manifesto comes to Italy - Il manifesto di un*adottiv*

When  we shared this awesome   post ,  it was November.  At last, the time has come:  The Italian Manifesto for all Italian Adoptees is here! In 2020 Angela Tucker , the leading Adoptee Voice in the USA launched her Adoptee Manifesto .   During the year I've reached out and asked for her collaboration to realize the first AdoptCloud Project: a translated version of the #adopteemanifesto in Italian . Il manifesto di un* adottiv* Ph. credit: Angela Tucker, Design: Alissa Edel (Translation in Italian by Alessia Petrolito) Open and agender, the manifests reunite adoptee's legitimate rights and desires at once. Beyond grouping, this is about building inner peace and a sense of connection to something bigger than ourselves. As adoptees, we can gain a voice and a community.
