Colour Gamma: Adoption and Colour Theory
What is Colour gamma? And why should one apply colour theory to adoption?
For visual arts, colour theory is the root and base of colour mixture and scheme; and explains basilar visual effects such as colour composition and matching. Mainly theorised by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Johannes Itten.
An Italian saying recites - Not everything is one (white) or the other (black). When I use the term colour gamma, I mean choice ~ a range of opinions or experience.
Adoption has its own 'colour gamma'. It shouldn't be so hard to say that - Yes, colours matters! Diversity and freedom of speech matter and they need all colours.
Being the outcome of life experience, adoption is not binary, it is a complex but colourful index. Every adoption story matters, each with its own light and shadows.
